Information
The Planai and Schladming enjoy as a ski venue worldwide an excellent call. Alpine ski world championships, junior world championships, Special Olympics World Games and other international big events became and are held here. Absolute highlight of every wintertime is the night slalom in the finish slope of the Planai. Zigtausende fans transform the Planai Olympic stadium into a bubbling witch's kettle. They make the "Nightrace" the top event of every ski-world cup season. On the Planai it is built in this summer busily. During the coming months it is a matter of moving a construction volume of about 26€ of million. The demolition works for the new Talstationszentrum "Planet Planai" have already taken place, here the construction works begin again. Furthermore the coupleable 8th chair lift is established in the area Mitterhaus as well as another memory pond in the area of Wide moss / fairy tale meadow.
